THE QUEEN KINGS | Ausverkauft – keine Abendkasse

The Queen Kings” is regarded as one of the best Queen tribute bands and has been touring Germany and Europe for many years. connoisseurs appreciate the band for their authenticity - they have made the Queen sound their own down to the smallest detail, but still remain true to themselves and retain their own touch. So they don't come across as a colorless copy, but win over the audience every time with their passion and enthusiasm.

In addition to world hits such as “A kind of magic”, “Don't stop me now” and “We are the champions”, you can also expect a few surprises in the 100% live show. In the spirit of the extroverted and theatrical Freddie Mercury, the Queen Kings use Queen's extensive and varied repertoire to produce an exciting and entertaining show with a fine sense of dramaturgy and a precisely coordinated light show with many highlights that will get under your skin.

Lead singer Sascha Krebs joined the Queen Kings in 2017. He had previously played with bassist Rolf Sander in the musical “We will rock you”, which led to a collaboration with Queen musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor and a joint performance. Born in Heidelberg, he wins over the audience with his likeable manner and impresses with his expressive voice, which matches the range of Freddie Mercury.

As part of the “Rock meets Classic” tours, he performed in front of over 75,000 people in Wacken and shared the stage with Alice Cooper, Bonnie Tyler, Rick Parfitt (Status Quo), Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), and Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company, Queen), among others.

The Queen Kings line-up is completed by long-time band members Susann de Bollier (vocals), Christof Wetter (keyboards), Drazen Zalac (guitar) and Oliver Kerstan (drums). With precise knowledge of the Queen arrangements, four-part choral singing and original equipment, the six musicians manage to bring the typical Queen sound to life and reinterpret it true to the motto “more than just a tribute”.
